Still don’t know how I feel about last night. Tough late night beat in Portland but we did hit the first four games of the parlay. The Bulls refused to lay down for the Pacers. The Milwaukee bucks are unbelievably good right now. And Atlanta still refuses to play defense. All that makes missing the over in the OKC/Blazers game by four points even more sickening. Lots of yelling at inanimate objects going on last night around here. They had 180 points on the board after three quarters and couldn’t put up more than 40 in the final frame. Oh well, gambling isn’t easy and that’s why you set up your parlays like The Great Tommy does. After going 4-4 in the early games, he threw $330 on the OKC/Blazers under. For your newbies out there that’s called hedging your bet. The moment The Great Tommy laid down cash on the under, in essence betting against himself, he’s guaranteed to win something. If the over ends up hitting and the original parlay comes through, TGT is still up over $1,000 even with his $330 loss on the under. So did our boy flip $60 of overtime pay into $1,450? No. Did he show off some veteran presence and hedge his bet? Of course he did. Which is why The Great Tommy still ended the day $270 richer after a bad beat.
Saturday. Wild Card Weekend. $300 four team NLF bet to win roughly $2,600. Let’s take a hot night in the NBA and turn it into some more play money for daddy.
Texans Money Line
Toughest game of the weekend to pick because Andrew Luck is really good. Watson and their defense show up big at home.
The Seattle Seahawks are playing some of the best football in the NFL right now and Russell Wilson should be an MVP candidate.
Welcome to the NFL playoffs Lamar Jackson. No matter how good the Ravens defense is, Jackson will have to throw the ball in an NFL playoff game. That’s not good for anyone in Baltimore.
Bears Money Line
Simply because the Bears are not going to lose a playoff game in Soldier Field. This also allows me to hedge the Eagles at +240 if I pull the first three games out of my ass.
Have a winning day,
